Welcome To The BUHSD Bond Improvements Update Site

A message from our School Superintendent

Welcome to the Buckeye Union High School District Bond Project’s Website. First of all, I would really like to thank the parents and community members that passed the November Bond Election. This capital funding is critical to our students. Not only are we protecting the previous community building investments by providing critical roofing and maintenance upgrades, we are adding classroom space and functionality to each of the campuses. The student growth is coming, and these facilities will help us serve the current and future youth of our community. Our campuses will be slightly larger, facilitating a substantial savings for our tax payers by reducing the number of schools needed in the future.

The district is committed to delivering quality facilities to our students at the most efficient cost for our taxpayers. We are working diligently with school staff, teachers, local school administrators and our construction design team to identify efficiencies and savings that will stretch bond dollars as far as they can go while providing a quality academic experience for students. This site will be updated routinely with information and pictures showing the implementation of the bond projects. The community will be able to follow along with us through this very important bond program.

Finally, the district will deliver a complete bond program on time, on budget and at the tax rate we promised the community during the election campaign. It is critical to the staff of the Buckeye Union High School District that we continue to earn the trust and confidence of our students, parents, and tax payers. We invite you to check this website often and see the changes we are making for students. Again, thank you for passing the bond.

Sincerely,

Eric Godfrey, Superintendent
